FARMS AND ACREAGE DIVISION

Daniel Crapps opened a one-man office in Live Oak, Florida in 1975. Since then, Daniel Crapps Agency, Inc. has grown to an office in Lake City, Florida with three full-time employees and a sales force of approximately 28 agents.

The Farms and Acreage Division was formed in 1987 consisting of Daniel Crapps, Katrina Blalock and Baynard Ward. Chuck Davis joined the organization in 1997. This department was formed for the purpose of concentrating our marketing efforts on specialized types of property, primarily land sales within the greater North Florida area. As of January 2006, the Farms and Acreage Division has been instrumental in selling over 290,000 acres.

In March 2004, Daniel Crapps Agency of Georgia, Inc. was formed, with Baynard Ward as the Broker of record, to allow our marketing to expand into Georgia. Baynardhas more than 30 years professional experience in real estate and is licensed in Florida and Georgia. He is a former farmer with experience in row crops, pasture and hay production, beef cattle and timber. He was employed with a petroleum company for six years with responsibilities that included oil and gas lease acquisition, title work and damage settlements. Some of the companies he has represented in the past include Champion Realty Corporation (a subsidiary of Champion International), Nature Conservancy, Georgia-Pacific Corporation and Tenneco Packaging Corporation (formerly Packaging Corporation of America).

Baynard has served as President of the Lake City Board of Realtors and has also served on the Board of Directors. At the request of Champion Realty, Baynard served four years on the board of supervisors of the Crossings at Fleming Island Community Development District in Clay County, Florida.

Travis Land joined Daniel Crapps Agency, Inc. in May, 2005 and Daniel Crapps Agency of Georgia, Inc. in August, 2005.

Travis, a native of the North Florida area, graduated from Florida State University in 2001 with a bachelor degree in Finance and Real Estate. Since that time, his experiences range from branch management for Wells Fargo Financial to Assistant Vice President of lending for Columbia County Bank.
